Sam Shoemaker

Chapter President

Sam is a Mechanical Engineer/PM for MW Consulting Engineers in Spokane Washington. He has working in the industry for 10 years and 7 as a consultant. He has been involved in Inland Empire Chapter of ASHRAE since 2016 on the board since 2018 and is serving as President.

Blake is a Sales Engineer for Dorse and Company in Spokane Washington where he was born and raised. He is new to the HVAC industry but eager to develop relationships and connect with the ASHRAE community. He enjoys the summers out at Lake Coeur d’Alene & the winters up at Schweitzer Mtn. He loves sports, competition, nature, and fitness. He has been an active member of ASHRAE since 2022 and is excited to learn and be more involved in the Inland Empire Chapter.

Chapter Treasurer

Shaun is a Sales Engineer for ATS Inland NW. He has worked with HVAC control systems throughout the Inland Northwest for the past 10 years. Shaun is currently serving as Treasurer for the Inland Empire Chapter and has served in other positions on the Inland Empire Board of Governors.

Matt Landoe

Membership Chair

Matt is an Account Manager for building automation systems at ATS Inland NW. He has provided expertise in controls and automation systems for buildings throughout the Inland Northwest for over 20 years and really enjoys design-build and messy retrofit projects. In his spare time, Matt enjoys working on various home remodel projects. Matt currently serves as Membership Promotion Chair for the Inland Empire Chapter and has been an active member of the chapter for 23 years.

David Reames

David Reames

Chapter Regional Conference Chair

David is a past President of the Inland Empire Chapter and is currently the general chair for the 2024 Region XI CRC. He is a senior mechanical engineer for FSi Engineering Associates with an emphasis on plumbing and piping design. He joined FSi in Seattle for the opportunity to move back to Spokane and help establish a Spokane branch office.

Peter Lavery

Research Promotion Chair

Peter enjoys continuously connecting and learning with others in the HVAC industry. Graduating from Gonzaga University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Peter began and continues his professional career with a local equipment distributor, Airefco. In Peter’s free time, he enjoys playing disc golf, and exploring the PNW and INW by hiking and camping in its public lands. Peter joined the Inland Empire Chapter in 2018 and serves as Research Promotion Chair.

Nick Beeler

Technology Chair

Nick is a Sales Engineer for ACI Mechanical & HVAC Sales. He has a unique background in HVAC consulting and manufacturing, giving him a great understanding of the products that make buildings thrive. He has been a member of the Inland Empire chapter of ASHRAE since 2018 and started serving on the board in 2021. He currently holds the Chapter Technology Transfer Committee (CTTC) Chair position for the Inland Empire chapter of ASHRAE.

Abbie Bullen

Young Engineers in ASHRAE (YEA) Chair

Abbie is a mechanical engineer at PAE Consulting Engineers. She has been with PAE for about 5 years and relocated in 2022 to support the opening of a new office in Spokane. She has been an ASHRAE member since her time in school at Cal Poly and is new to the Inland Empire chapter. On the weekends, you can find her working on house renovations, hunting or fishing with her partner & chocolate lab, or hitting the slopes. Abbie is excited to meet the local AEC community and serve as YEA chair.

Emilie Moreshead

Student Activities (SA) Chair

Emilie is a Commissioning Project Manager for Engineering Economics.  She has worked in this field for 18 years and served the Spokane area for 15 years.  She has been involved in the Inland Empire chapter of ASHRAE since 2012 and has worked on the Student Activities Committee as well as served the board positions.  She is currently acting as the Student Activities Chair person as well as serving on the CRC Planning Committee.

Jayden has been designing HVAC and plumbing systems at L&S Engineering since 2016. Jayden joined the Inland Empire chapter of ASHRAE in late 2022. He hopes to serve you well as webmaster on the chapter website team.
